Volunteers needed for Army Challenge Project

The Army Challenge Project is a multi-agency project, funded by the Armed Forces Community Covenant grant.  It is delivered to children aged between 10-12 years from all schools in Midlothian.  The aim of the project is to develop the confidence, self esteem, communication, social responsibility and team working skills of the pupils.  Pupils are referred by the School and Social Workers. 

The project has been very successful in the past this year, we are keen to recruit volunteers to support the young people to participate and engage in the project to nurture, give encouragement and  positive feedback.The satisfaction of working on this project and witnessing the positive changes to the pupils would be beneficial to any volunteers.
