New TSI Manifesto for Change launched
Did you know that Midlothian Third Sector Interface consists of Volunteer Midlothian, Midlothian Voluntary Action and also the Social Enterprise Alliance Midlothian (known as SEAM)? Every local authority area in Scotland has a Third Sector Interface (TSI) and each TSI receives core funding from the Scottish Government to achieve specific outcomes alongside local people and other community planning partners.
Our friends and colleagues at the TSI Network have just launched a new 'Manifesto for Change' campaign to raise awareness of the third sector, community leadership and volunteering. The importance of these things for a healthier and fairer society can't be overstated - particularly in such challenging times when the input of volunteers and community members makes a huge difference by keeping people safer, warmer, and better connected.
