Nominations open for Volunteers Week Awards 2010

[Volunteer Centre Midlothian]

Volunteer Centre Midlothian is inviting nominations to the Volunteers' Week Awards 2010.

The awards acknowledge the range of volunteer involvement going on in Midlothian, recognise the contribution of volunteers and reward volunteers for their dedication and commitment.

Closing date for nominations is Thursday 20th May 2010. The awards will be presented at an evening Awards Ceremony on Thursday 3rd June in McSense Business Park, Mayfield.

We are invitiing nominations to the following categories:

Award for Contribution to the Well Being of Others
Award for Organisational Support
Award for Service to the Community and the Environment

We will also be awarding the presitgous Volunteer Team of the Year Award, chosen from all the nominations received.

Sponsorship and support for the awards comes from McSense Group, Jewel & Esk Valley College, Lothian and Borders Police and the Rotary of Esk Valley.
