Membership

Membership is open to:

  • Any not-for-profit organisation that involves volunteers in Midlothian and shares the aims and values of Volunteer Centre Midlothian.
  • Any individual who shares our aims and values and who is a current volunteer with Volunteer Centre Midlothian or with an agency that is registered on Volunteer Centre Midlothian database

Volunteer Centre Midlothian exists to involve more people more effectively in volunteering to help to solve problems and enrich communities

We aim:

  • To help anyone who wants to do so to volunteer
  • To ensure the best experience for volunteers
  • To achieve positive change from volunteering for individuals and communities

Our values are about inclusiveness, diversity, freewill and choice, empowerment and impact in volunteering.

To ensure as wide a range of representation as possible, there are three categories of membership.

Full Member

£10 per annum
Volunteer Involving Organisations in the voluntary, statutory and private sector.

Affiliated Member

£10 per annum
Corporate Sector

Individual Member

FREE
Individuals / Volunteers

Membership entitles you to nominate and elect board members of Volunteer Centre Midlothian and to vote at any general meeting of the company. It also entitles you access to low-cost training.
